Delivering tribute of the University, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kolawole Salako described the death of Prof. Elemo as “a celebration of fond memories about him and what he stood for”, as against grief and sorrow.

The Vice-Chancellor who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Prof. Lateef Sanni said Prof. Elemo would be sorely missed for his rich academic dexterity, exceptional contribution to knowledge and the commitment he brought to bear in the discharge of his duties, the qualities which earned him respect from all and sundry during his lifetime.
