The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has commenced its second semester examinations for the 2011/2012 Academic Session. Management had earlier declared the previous week “Lecture-Free”, to enable students prepare adequately for the examinations. In a chat, he Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Professor Toyin Arowolo, said the examinations will hold from Monday, 25th June, to Wednesday, 11th July, 2012. He reiterated that the University Management was fully prepared to conduct a hitch-free examination, as adequate logistics had been put in place. According to him, “The University is fully ready for the second semester examinations. For one, the final Time-Table is out. The Julius Amioba Okojie (JAO) Lecture Theatre I, II, and III had been set up for the exams, starting on Monday, 25th June and ending on Wednesday, 11th July, 2012”. “The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic has written to the Director of Works and Services, to ensure uninterrupted power supply at Examination Venues. I have also written to the Director in charge of Environment, to ensure that the venues are in good shape and I also wrote to the Director, Health Services, to provide Ambulance Services. We are fully ready for the exams.”, he added. Professor Arowolo charged the students to conduct themselves in an orderly manner, in line with the University’s tradition of discipline and excellence, saying, “no Invigilator is interested in sending-out any of them from the examination hall”.
