Activities marking the 31st Convocation Ceremony of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) have commenced with a Jumat Service held to herald the event at the University Mosque.
Speaking at the University Mosque, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde assured the entire University community that his administration would not do anything that would run down any staff, as he charged all to dwell more on unity.

The Vice-Chancellor stressed that his administration would not relent in running an all-inclusive government where everyone’s opinion would be critically considered before decisions are made.
He enjoined all the staff members to work harmoniously for the progress and development of the University.
Commenting on the tremendous improvement on the construction of the University Mosque, Prof. Kehinde admonished all to be generous in doing things without fear or favour, adding that his administration would seek further support from the Governing Council to facilitate the completion of the Mosque.
He appreciated the Chief Imam of the FUNAAB Muslim Community, Prof. Idris Ayinde for the insightful and thought-provoking sermon he delivered to the congregation.
Earlier, the Chief Imam in his Sermon on behalf of the Muslim Community felicitated with the University Management on the occasion of the 31st Convocation Ceremony, and congratulated the graduands, admonishing them to always uphold the core values of the University.
He prayed for success, peace, and progress in the University, imploring the Management to keep up the good work and not allow any negative influence in the discharge of judgement.
