The University has commenced online registration, uploading of information on bio-data and results for undergraduate admission exercise into 100, 200 and 300 levels for the 2017/2018 Academic Session. The University has earlier released cut-off marks for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for candidates, who made FUNAAB their first choice institution, for the 2017/2018 Academic Session, following the recent policy meeting, chaired by the Honourable Minister of Education.

FUNAAB operates a Dual Cut-Off Point System for its agricultural programmes, which is fixed at 180 marks, while courses in Engineering, Sciences and Veterinary Medicine programmes are pegged at 200 marks. In other words, only candidates, who scored 180 and above for the agricultural programmes, as well as those who made 200 and above in Engineering, Sciences and Veterinary Medicine programmes are eligible to sit for the forthcoming Post-UTME Screening Exercise.

The 2017/2018 admission exercise would be based on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS); a newly-introduced system by JAMB, which is designed to automate admission process into tertiary institutions.

Meanwhile, only candidates who sat for the 2017/2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with correct subject combinations and scored a minimum of 180 marks for Agricultural programmes and a minimum of 200 marks for Engineering, Sciences and Veterinary Medicine programmes are eligible to participate in the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise, while Direct Entry candidates with a minimum of Upper Credit and its equivalent, who have also applied to JAMB for admission into the University, are also invited to register on-line for admission into 200 and 300 levels. Direct Entry candidates should ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded to the Acting Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture (FUNAAB), not later than Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

Suitably-qualified candidates that chose the University, as the most preferred institution, must possess minimum entry requirements of five O’level Credits in relevant subjects; at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB,  while filling the same results online.  Applicants are advised to confirm the admission requirements into the respective Degree programmes on the University Admission Portal; http://admission.unaab.edu.ng, before log-in, to fill the e-application form.
