FUNAAB Benefits from NCC’s Project

Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has donated to the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) 110 units of Laptops with e-Learning suites for Academic and Non-Teaching staff.

Easy Does It when God is involved: The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kolawole Salako (2nd Right) beaming with smile while savouring with his Deputies Prof. Lateef Sanni, Development 2nd and 3rd Prof. Morenike Dipeolu, Academic left the delivery of 110 Units of Laptop donated to the University by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC).

The details of the project is contained in a letter signed by the Head, Procurement Department, NCC, Mr. Yusuf Argungu, on behalf of the Commission’s Executive Vice-Chairman, Professor Umar Danbatta.

Tagged the School Support Project, the letter stated that the project is to provide a platform for Teaching, Learning, Research and Development.

Mr. Argungu further noted that it is also aimed at encouraging the use of ICT in Academic Development and facilitating easier access to intellectual resources available globally.

FUNAAB was nominated as a beneficiary Institution by Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye, Chairman, Board of NCC, he also added.
