The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has reinforced its commitment to academic excellence by subscribing to more than 30 academic databases. The strategic initiative, driven by the University Library, provides staff and students with access to a vast array of user-friendly, content-rich resources, accessible both on-campus and remotely.

The University Librarian, Prof. Abayomi Owolabi, highlighted that the subscription aligned with the Management’s vision of positioning FUNAAB as a leading University in Nigeria. He stressed that the availability of these databases would greatly enhance research visibility and propel the University towards achieving global recognition.

Prof. Owolabi extended his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, for his steadfast support, and to the Management and staff of TETFund for their invaluable contributions to the milestone. He also revealed plans for upcoming training sessions to equip staff and students with the skills needed to maximise the benefits of these resources..
