The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has commenced the National Housing Fund (NHF) Know Your Customer (KYC) enrolment exercise for all members of staff as part of efforts to update contributors’ records with the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN).

According to a circular issued by the Bursar, Mr. Olukayode Osinuga, all staff members are required to print and complete the National Housing Fund Update Form and submit the duly completed copies to Room B114, New Senate Extension (Taxes and Statutory Deductions Unit), Bursary Department.

The Bursar explained that the exercise is aimed at updating contributors’ records and ensuring that all information on file with the NHF is accurate, complete and up-to-date.

He disclosed that the enrolment exercise commenced on August 1, 2026, and would run for 30 days, urging all staff to comply within the stipulated period. He warned that contributor records that remain non-compliant after the deadline would be flagged in the NHF system.

Mr. Osinuga also advised newly employed staff who are yet to complete their NHF online registration to do so through the NHF online portal. He further stressed that Microfinance Bank and Fintech bank accounts are not accepted for the registration process.
