In a move aimed at improving the functionality and aesthetics of workspaces across the University, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, has constituted a Committee on Renovation of Office Furniture to oversee the repair and refurbishment of existing office furniture.
According to a notice issued by the Committee’s Secretary, Mr. Michael Ogunji, the Committee has requested all Deans, Heads of Departments, Directors, and Heads of Units to submit written notifications of any office furniture requiring renovation. The notice should clearly indicate the location of such furniture to ensure easy accessibility and efficient coordination.
Submissions are to be directed to the Chairperson of the Committee, Mrs. Odunola Akinsola of the Directorate of Physical Planning (Tel: +234 803 844 1755), or to the Secretary, Mr. Michael Ogunji of the Senate and Admissions Unit (Tel: +234 906 003 0073), on or before Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
Following the submission deadline, members of the Committee would embark on a site visit to various offices to conduct a detailed inventory of the identified items for further action.
The Committee appreciated the cooperation of all stakeholders, noting that a timely response would greatly facilitate its assignment towards enhancing the University’s work environment.
