The 3rd Night of Excellence of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) will hold on Sunday, January 1, 2012.
The University will at the occasion honour members of staff and students, who have distinguished themselves in various spheres as well as the First Class graduates of the institution.
The Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba (Dr.) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo will be the Chairman at the occasion, scheduled to hold at the Jubilee Multipurpose Hall, Bishop’s Court, Onikolobo, Abeokuta.
The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Tunde Lemo will deliver the Guest Lecture, titled Agriculture: an Effective Tool for Accelerated Economic Development.
Highlight of the event is the Productivity award to deserving staff and students, who have demonstrated exemplary conducts in their various callings.
Members of the University community, including staff and students, were enjoined to attend, while guests were implored to be punctual at the event which kicks-off at 4.00pm.
