The 41st Inaugural Lecture of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) holds Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Professor Mahmood Yakubu Lecture Theatre, beginning at 2.00 o’clock in the afternoon.
The Lecture titled “Biotechnology Capacity Building: The Gateway To Food Security”, would be delivered by Professor Sylvia Veronica Ajagugha Uzochukwu, a Professor of Food Microbiology and Biotechnology in the College of Food Science and Human Ecology (COLFHEC).
Professor Uzochukwu’s research interest covers Food Microbiology and Biotechnology. She is a Member, Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology and Biotechnology Society Nigeria.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olusola Oyewole, would be the Chairman of the occasion.
