The immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development) of FUNAAB, Prof. Lateef Sanni has been described as a man of great strength, who is humble, hard-working, and capable of multi-tasking, during an event held in his honour. Describing his exemplary qualities, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kolawole Salako said, “We want to thank you for your contributions to the University, and to honour you and tell you that we wish you well”.

Prof. Salako said that the University would not forget his impact, especially in his ability to win grants, for the expansion of the bakery, and the roots and tubers factory. Further extolling Prof. Sanni’s virtues were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Morenike Dipeolu; and the incumbent DVC (Development), Prof. Clement Adeofun, who said that Prof. Sanni has done very well, right from his days as the Dean, College of Food Sciences and Human Ecology (COLFHEC) till date.
