Professor Francis Idachaba, a Doctorate of Science (Honoris Causa) recipient from FUNAAB and Chairman, Nigerian National Merit Award (NNMA), has passed on. 
The renowned scholar and a foremost Professor of Agricultural Economics, would be buried as follows:
Wednesday, September 10, 2014 – Service of Songs at his residence at 1, F. S. Idachaba Street, New Bodija, Ibadan by 4pm.
Thursday, September 11, 2014 – Commendation Service at the Chapel of the Resurrection, University of Ibadan by 8am while Wake-Keep holds at his residence, Castle of God’s Mercy, Ofiayi GRA, Idah, Kogi State by 7pm.
Friday, September 12, 2014 – Funeral Service at the United Evangelical Church of Nigeria
Headquarters, Idah, Kogi State by 10am while interment and reception of guests follow
immediately at his residence, Castle of God’s Mercy, Ofiayi GRA, Idah, Kogi State.
Professor Idachaba is survived by his wife, Esther, children and grandchildren.
