The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has scheduled a sensitisation and mobilisation briefing for all 2025/2026 final-year students as part of preparations for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.

In a notice issued by the Dean, Student Affairs, Prof. Festus Adeosun, Heads of Departments have been directed to promptly inform all final-year students in their respective Departments about the exercise.

The briefing would be facilitated by an official from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja. The session is designed to provide prospective Corps Members with first-hand information on the operations and expectations of the Scheme, while ensuring a smooth and hitch-free mobilisation process.

Prof. Adeosun stressed that attendance is compulsory for all affected students, noting that failure to attend may jeopardise their mobilisation for National Service.

The programme is slated for Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Mahmoud Yakubu Lecture Theatre, beginning at 12 noon.
