The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is set to equip newly admitted students with essential academic, career and personal-development guidance at a Career and Sensitisation Day scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

The programme, organised for fresh students of the 2026/2027 Academic Session, would hold from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Professor Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building.

The Head, Career Services and Linkages Unit (CSLU), Prof. Abiodun Obayelu, disclosed that the programme was organised as part of the University’s efforts to properly orientate and prepare new students for a successful university experience.

According to him, the programme was designed to expose the fresh students to relevant information, guidance and opportunities that would support their academic progression, career development and transition into university life.

The Career and Sensitisation Day is expected to provide the students with practical insights and direction as they commence their studies and begin to navigate their academic and career journeys at FUNAAB.
