The duo of Mr. Olatunde Olosunde and Mr. Yinka Ojo, a Staff and postgraduate student respectively in the Department of Horticulture, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) have been offered West African Network on Organic Agriculture Research and Training (WANOART) Fellowship awards, tenable at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

A release signed by the WANOART Coordinator, Professor Isaac Aiyelaagbe informed that Mr. Olosunde will stay for three weeks gathering information on the inter-phase between organic agriculture and ornamental horticulture in urban centers, while Mr. Ojo will spend eight weeks to elucidate the biocidal effects of marigold (Tagets Petula) extracts as part of his research for the award of the masters degree in Horticulture.

The award is tenable between January and March, 2013.
