In an effort to curb the rising incidence of hypertension and diabetes, the Ogun State Ministry of Health, backed by the Nigeria Commissioners for Health Forum is set to conduct free health screenings at FUNAAB as part of the nationwide “Project 10 Million” initiative.
The programme, scheduled for Friday, November 8, 2024, would offer FUNAAB staff and students the opportunity to assess their hypertension and diabetes status, aligning with the Project’s goal to screen 10 million Nigerians across the country. The screening venue on campus would be announced before Friday.
The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Kayode Oladehinde, encourages all members of the University Community to participate actively in the exercise to promote early detection and management of these conditions.
