As part of activities marking the end of the 2024/2025 Academic Session, pupils of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Staff School embarked on an enlightening familiarisation tour of the University, designed to broaden their academic horizons and inspire future career aspirations.

Led by the Head Teacher, Mrs. Florence Alade and the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Mr. Jide Oduyemi alongside Dr. Abidemi Ojo and Mrs. Mary Adeyemo, the enthusiastic pupils commenced the tour with a special courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, in his office.

The Vice-Chancellor also prayed for their safety and well-being during the upcoming holiday.

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of a hand-drawn portrait of the Vice-Chancellor by a pupil, Master Joseph Opakunle. Deeply touched by the artwork, Prof. Kehinde commended Joseph’s artistic skill and responded with a heartfelt token of appreciation.

Delivering the Vote of Thanks, the Head Boy, Master Folayan Alayode, expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor for his warm reception and inspiring words.
