The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Staff School is set to celebrate the 2024/2025 Academic Session’s conclusion with a rich lineup of activities in honour of its graduating pupils.
According to the official itinerary by the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Mr. Jide Oduyemi, the week-long programme would commence, today, Monday, July 21, 2025, featuring various engaging and educational activities designed to expose the pupils to the University environment and foster a sense of responsibility and achievement.
Highlights of the day include a tree-planting ceremony by the graduating pupils starting by 8 a.m., a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor by 9 a.m. and an interview session on FUNAAB Radio’s Boiling Point at 9.30 a.m. The students would also participate in a Career Fair Exhibition at the Career Services and Linkages Unit (CSLU), by 10 a.m., followed by a series of Familiarisation tours to key Directorates and Centres within the University, including the University Library, the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology Services (DICTS), the Directorate of Academic Information Systems (DACIS), and the Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CENTS), by 12.30 p.m.
The grand finale of the activities is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, 2025, with a Prize-Giving Day and End-of-Session Party to be held at the school premises by 10:00 a.m. The celebration would also feature the commissioning of a newly renovated ICT Laboratory, a legacy project facilitated by the Graduating Class of 2025.
