A staff of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, (FUNAAB), Mr. Ayodeji Adeyinka Adeoye, of the Department of Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, College of Environmental Management (COLERM), has won the Commonwealth Scholarship.
To this end, Mr. Adeoye has been selected by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, United Kingdom, to attend a 36-month overseas Ph. D Programme in Aquaculture and Fish Nutrition.
The Doctorate degree at the Plymouth University, South West London, is funded by the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DfID) as part of the Commonwealth Scholarships, tenable in the United Kingdom for the 2012/2013 Academic Session.
Speaking to FUNAAB Bulletin, Mr. Adeoye expressed his profound gratitude to God for the opportunity and promised to put in his best in order to excel in the programme.
