The Head, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Theatre Troupe, Mr. Ola Olayemi has commended the Management of the University for allowing students of the institution to showcase their talents in the area of art.
Mr. Ola Olayemi, a 500-level student of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development who gave the commendation in a chat with FUNAAB Bulletin said what prompted the creation of the troupe is to educate, inform and entertain on relevant topical issues.
He said the troupe always ensure that its drama presentation conforms with a given programme, noting that since inception of Professor Oyewole-led Administration, it has performed in seven different programmes, especially during Orientation programme for new students.

The Head, FUNAAB Theatre Troupe urged his fellow students to join the troupe, not minding the fact that they are Agriculture or Science-based students, in order to sustain the dream of the initiator, Professor (Mrs.) Bola Akeredolu-Ale who started it in 2005.
He solicited for maximum cooperation, hardwork, commitment from the members of the troupe, noting that if all hands are on deck, the existence of the troupe will lead to creation of an Institute that is Arts Oriented.
“The troupe is all encompassing which involves training in Make-Up, Directing, Comedy, Location Management/Welfarism, Stage Management, Poetry, Drumming, amongst others”, he added.
