The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) would on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, hold its 109th Inaugural Lecture at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building. The Lecture is scheduled to commence at 2:00 p.m., while guests are expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m.
The Lecture, titled “Combating the Hidden Menace of Metallic Materials: Panacea for Industrial Growth and Environmental Sustainability,” would be delivered by Prof. Olayide Rasaq Adetunji, a distinguished expert in Corrosion and Materials Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering (COLENG).
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, would serve as the Chief Host of the event.
