The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), is set to host the 19th Annual Conference of the Organic Agriculture Professionals in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria (OAPTIN), scheduled for November 15–18, 2026, as part of efforts to advance sustainable and organic agriculture through research, capacity building and knowledge exchange.

The opening ceremony would hold at the Green Chamber, where the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, is expected to declare the conference open.

Technical sessions and other academic activities would take place at the Career Services and Linkages Unit Building, providing participants with opportunities for professional interaction, knowledge sharing and collaboration.

OAPTIN is a university-based initiative committed to capacity building, research, advocacy and the promotion of sustainable organic agriculture in Nigeria.
