The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is set to host the 3rd International Conference of the International Association of Survey Statisticians (IASS) and the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) Nigeria Local Group on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
According to the organisers, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, has been invited to declare the conference open at 9 a.m. at the Red Chamber.
This year’s conference, themed “The Power of Statistics for a Better Future,” would bring together renowned scholars, researchers, and industry experts in statistical sciences and data analytics. Discussions would centre on advancements, challenges, and real-world applications of statistics in research and policy development.
The Opening Address by the Vice-Chancellor is expected to set the tone for insightful deliberations that would shape the future of statistics in Nigeria and beyond.
