The Directorate of University Farms (DUFARMS), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), is set to organise a Pre-season Farming Seminar aimed at enhancing capacity and promoting innovation in agricultural practices.
The seminar, which marks the Opening Ceremony of a One-Day Capacity Training Workshop, is themed “University Farms as Incubation Ground for Innovation and Revenue Generation.” It is designed to equip participants with practical insights on leveraging University farms for research, entrepreneurship, and sustainable income generation.
According to the organisers, the programme would bring together stakeholders in agriculture, including staff, researchers, and students, to explore strategies for maximising the potential of University farms as hubs for innovation and agribusiness development.
The event is scheduled to hold tomorrow, April 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Green Chamber.
