FUNAAB to Host Second Edition of Cross-Border Chemistry Lecture Series Tomorrow

The Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry (PAC), is set to host the second edition of its Cross-Border Chemistry Lecture Series, featuring Dr. Adeniyi Ogunlaja, Head, Department of Chemistry, Nelson Mandela University, South Africa.

The lecture, scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, November 20, 2025, would hold at the Postgraduate School Auditorium at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Ogunlaja is expected to speak on the compelling topic, “Beyond Rare and Precious: Are Base Metals the Sustainable Future of Catalysis and Medicine?”

Designed to deepen scholarly engagement and strengthen international research collaboration, the lecture would also spotlight conversations around sustainable chemical applications in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Members of the University Community, researchers, and stakeholders in the scientific and industrial sectors are invited to attend.
