The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has called on all eligible staff members to take advantage of the extended deadline for the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) One-Off Online Verification and Enrolment Exercise, now scheduled to end on Friday, July 31, 2026.

According to a circular issued by the Principal Assistant Registrar, Pension Administration Unit, Mrs. Olubunmi Adediran, the University observed that a considerable number of affected staff members are yet to complete the mandatory data recapturing exercise with their respective Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs).

The circular specifically urged staff employed before June 30, 2004, who have not undergone the verification and data recapturing process, to visit their PFAs without further delay to regularise their records.

Mrs. Adediran explained that the slow pace of compliance has posed challenges for the University’s Pension Administration Unit in uploading staff records on the PENCOM portal, thereby affecting the seamless processing of pension-related documentation.

She, therefore, appealed to all concerned staff members to treat the exercise with utmost urgency and make use of the extension granted by PENCOM to complete the verification process before the deadline expires.
