The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), in collaboration with the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) and Ajogbe Agro-Allied, has earned an ‘Outstanding’ grade from the UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme in recognition of the remarkable success of their collaborative innovation project.

The prestigious Certificate of Excellence was presented to the three partners following the successful implementation of the FUNAAB-UWS-Ajogbe Feed Project, which was coordinated from FUNAAB. The project focused on developing affordable and highly nutritious livestock feed using locally available crop residues and agricultural waste.

The innovation has provided a cost-effective solution to one of the major challenges facing livestock farmers by significantly reducing feed production costs while promoting the sustainable utilisation of agricultural waste materials.
