A 300-level student in the Department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mr. Mosopefoluwa Adefuye, has emerged as FUNAAB’S Goggle Student Ambassador.

The Google Student Ambassador (GSA) programme is part of Google’s commitment to supporting education in Africa.

The benefits to FUNAAB include Faculty research grants, Visibility of the institution to the world through Google platform, Campus Wi-fi, Google applications for education and scholarship grants to students, among others.

Mr. Mosopefoluwa Adefuye, alongside one hundred and forty nine(149) other students from all over Africa was chosen after a competitive selection process conducted by Google.

Following the just concluded period of orientation in Kenya, Mosopefoluwa is expected to introduce students to new Google products and features, create awareness about Google opportunities and also act as FUNAAB’S contact for Google teams.

Staff of the University are expected to receive quality training to help improve personal life and productivity at work through Google products, while FUNAABITES will also enjoy hands-on training and free Internet service on campus.
