The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), through its Erasmus+ co-funded project AGRECOFARM, would host a 2-Day InfoDay Event on November 6 and 7, 2025, at the Centre of Excellence in Agricultural Development and Sustainable Environment (CEADESE) Lecture Hall, beginning at 10:00 a.m. each day.
The event was organised to disseminate the achievements of the AGRECOFARM project and promote awareness among key stakeholders, including academia, industry, government, and society.
According to the Team Lead, Prof. Adewale Dipeolu, the first session would feature discussions on the quadruple helix approach and career opportunities in the newly accredited M.Sc. Agroecology programme, while the second day would introduce the Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses to farmers, technicians, and Farm Practical Year (FPY) students.
The Two-Day programme would also include an exhibition of laboratory equipment and the newly commissioned Greenhouse by AGRECOFARM. The event is also expected to strengthen partnerships and promote sustainable agricultural development through knowledge sharing and stakeholder engagement.
