The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has achieved another significant academic milestone with the selection of its Master of Science (M.Sc.) Programme in Physics by the German Academic Exchange Services (DAAD) for sponsorship under the prestigious In-Country/In-Region Scholarship Programme for Sub-Saharan Africa.
According to a statement by the Ag. Head, Directorate of Public Relations, Mr. Olasunkanmi Olajide, the development confers on FUNAAB the status of a Host Institution for the DAAD Scholarship Programme, further strengthening the University’s reputation as a centre of excellence in postgraduate training and research.
He added that the University has received the formal Letter of Award from DAAD, while the Affiliate Agreement document would be transmitted to FUNAAB in due course.
