FUNAAB’s Stakeholders’ Meeting, Public Workshop on Food Security Now to Hold from November 18

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced that its much-anticipated Stakeholders’ Meeting and Public Workshop on Food Security would now hold from Tuesday, November 18 to Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Red Chamber.

Organised through the Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR), the event is designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange on sustainable agricultural development and innovation. Proceedings are scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m. daily.

According to the Director of IFSERAR, Prof. Olusegun Idowu, the workshop would feature a delegation from Brazil, who would engage Nigerian researchers, policymakers, and other key stakeholders in robust discussions on food security, agricultural productivity, and innovation.
