The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta International School (FUNIS) has once again demonstrated its sporting excellence, emerging victorious in both the male and female categories of the Invitational Relay Race at the 2025 Inter-House Sports Competition of Foursquare Secondary School, Asero.

The highly competitive event, held at the school’s sports complex, brought together top secondary schools in Abeokuta, each vying for dominance in various track and field events. FUNIS athletes put on a stellar performance, outpacing their rivals to claim first place in both the boys’ and girls’ relay races.

Speaking after the event, FUNIS Principal, Mr. Olusola Ilori commended the students for their dedication, discipline, and teamwork, which were instrumental in securing the victories. He also expressed appreciation to the University Management for the support in developing young athletes, as well as encouraging co-curricular and sporting activities in the school.

With this latest achievement, FUNIS continues to solidify its reputation as a hub for academic and athletic excellence, inspiring students to excel both in the classroom and on the field.
