The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Schools Management Board has appointed Mr. Olusola Ilori as the new Principal, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta International School (FUNIS) for a five-year term, beginning from the date of his assumption of office.
Mr. Ilori, a seasoned educationist, holds a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Business Education from the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Educational Management from the University of Ado-Ekiti, and a Master of Education (M.Ed) in Educational Management, specialising in Personnel Administration, from the University of Ibadan.
In addition to his academic qualifications, Mr. Ilori is a registered member of notable professional bodies such as the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), the Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria (CIPMN), and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), among others.
Before his appointment, he served as the Acting Principal of FUNIS, further demonstrating his commitment to the school’s growth.
Alongside Mr. Ilori’s appointment, Mr. Mufutau Ogunwande has been named Vice-Principal (Academic), and Mrs. Aanuolu Oyewumi has been appointed Vice-Principal (Administration).
The new leadership team is expected to build on the school’s successes and guide FUNIS to even greater heights in academic and administrative excellence.
