… Rewards Top UTME Performer with ₦50,000 Cash Gift
In furtherance of its mission to promote holistic education, the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta International School (FUNIS), in partnership with Zenith Bank PLC, organised a Financial Literacy Training aimed at equipping students with vital money management skills.
Held today, June 25, 2025, the training session brought together 20 selected students from Senior Secondary Schools 2 and 3, exposing them to practical financial concepts such as savings, budgeting, investment, and charitable giving.
Facilitators from Zenith Bank delivered engaging and insightful presentations, designed to prepare students for real-world financial responsibilities. The interactive format of the session encouraged student participation, with opportunities to ask questions and share their views on prudent financial habits.
The initiative reflects FUNIS’ unwavering commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals by integrating financial literacy into the personal and academic development of its students. It also aligned with international best practices in secondary education, ensuring students are better prepared for future economic realities.
The school management, under the leadership of the Principal, Mr. Olusola Ilori appreciated Zenith Bank for its invaluable support, expressing optimism that the partnership would continue to yield positive outcomes for student development.
In a related highlight, Miss Haliyat Atanda, who emerged with the highest score in the 2025 UTME with an impressive 334, was honoured with a ₦50,000 cash gift, in recognition of her outstanding academic performance.
