The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta International School (FUNIS), has once again demonstrated its steady commitment to academic excellence, as its students recorded outstanding performances in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
In a remarkable display of brilliance and academic preparedness, 10 students making 23% of the total students who took the examination, scored between 300 and 327, placing them among the top percentile of candidates. A further 23 students with 52%, achieved scores within the 250–299 range, while 11 students making up 25%, recorded scores between 200 and 249. Impressively, no student scored below 200, noting the School’s consistent record of excellence and high academic standards.
These exceptional outcomes reflect FUNIS’ robust teaching methodology, experienced Teaching and Non-Teaching staff, and a nurturing learning environment that prioritises discipline, integrity, and all-round development. Over the years, the School has built a solid reputation for producing high-performing students who excel in both internal and external examinations.
Meanwhile, sequel to this outstanding performance, FUNIS had earlier announced that its admission process for the 2026/2027 Academic Session is currently ongoing. Applications are invited into JSS 1, JSS 2, SS 1, and SS 2 classes, with both day and boarding facilities available to cater to diverse needs.
Parents and guardians seeking a world-class secondary education for their wards are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to enrol them in a school where excellence is not just a goal, but a tradition.
