… Set to Hold High-Powered Meeting with the Vice-Chancellor Tomorrow
The Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on Agriculture, and also the Anchor of the Green Money Project, Hon. Abiodun Yinusa, has arrived at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), with a high-powered delegation ahead of a strategic meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
The visit, which was part of the preparations for the take-off of the Green Money Project, a key component of the Presidential Initiative for the Empowerment of Youth in Agriculture would culminate in a crucial meeting with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, and the University Management Team. The meeting is slated for 11:00 a.m. at the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room.
While on campus, the delegation is expected to inspect portions of the University’s vast farmland to assess the availability and suitability of land for the proposed agricultural empowerment initiative.
Other members of the high-powered delegation are Mr. Charles Folayan, Project Coordinator; Engr. Hakeem Olugbode, Co-Coordinator; and Prof. Musa Ahmed, Project Consultant.
Meanwhile, the Green Money Project was designed to harness Nigeria’s agricultural potential through youth empowerment, innovative farming practices, and sustainable agribusiness models.
