The Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM), College of Food Science and Human Ecology (COLFHEC), has announced that the HTM 510 (Bar Operations) Practical, featuring product exhibitions and sales, would commence on March 23, 2026.
According to a memo issued by the Ag. Head of the Department, Dr. Abioye Adedipe, the practical exercise is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in bar operations and hospitality management, while also showcasing their creativity and entrepreneurial skills through product displays and sales.
The practical sessions would take place at designated locations within the University campus, including the COLFHEC Garden, Motion Ground, COLERM Garden, and COLANIM Garden.
The programme would be held in two phases: March 23 to 27, 2026, and March 30 to April 3, 2026. Members of the University Community are encouraged to attend the exhibition and support the students by patronising the various products that would be on display during the practical sessions.
