The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission (ICPC) has ranked the University second in its recently-conducted Ethics Compliance and Integrity Scorecard (ECIS), deployed in selected government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
The ECIS, which is one of the initiatives introduced by the ICPC to measure MDAs adherence with ethical, integrity, statutory rules, regulations and standards, is an annual activity and this year’s formed part of the programme marking hits 20th Anniversary.
In spite of the Coranavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and the attendant restrictions, ICPC deployed the scorecard of 352 MDAs nationwide in 2020 and the University, under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kolawole Salako, ranked second among the identified best five Federal Universities in terms of high degree of transparency in all dealings in the University.
