The Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), is set to host a One-Day Indigenous Knowledge Programme themed “Tapping into Nature: Bamboo Wine and Aadun Production.”

Scheduled to hold on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., the event would take place at the FUNAAB Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS) Bamboo Groove, located behind the Health Centre.

The programme, to be facilitated by renowned indigenous knowledge expert, Prof. Samuel Oluwalana, would offer participants a hands-on, culturally enriching experience in the art of preparing bamboo-aged wine and producing Aadun, a traditional delicacy using safe, contaminant-free methods.

Members of the University Community are warmly invited to attend and explore practical, sustainable approaches rooted in indigenous knowledge.
