2. I was Major Supervisor of an M. Agric. research candidate in the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics that successfully completed his programme in 2000 (Mr. S. O. Peters).  

(Both Mr. I.O. Sowunmi and Mr. S.O. Peters were employed as Assistant Lecturers in the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics after the successful completion of their M. Agric. degree programmes).

3. I was Co-Supervisor of an M. Agric. candidate in the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics that successfully completed his programme in 2002 (Mr. E.O. Daramola-Atobatele).

6. I was Co-Supervisor of an M. Sc. candidate in the Department of Forestry and Wildlife Management, UNAAB, that successfully completed his programme in 2006 (Mr. A. O. Akintunde). Mr. Akintunde is presently a Lecturer in Wildlife Management at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

7. I was Major Supervisor of an M. Agric. candidate in the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics that successfully completed his programme in 2008 (Mr. H.H. Gunn). Mr.Gunn is presently a Lecturer in the Department of Animal Science, Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port-Harcourt.

8. I was Major Supervisor of an M. Agric. candidate in the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics that successfully completed her programme in 2008 (Mrs. O.D. Ogunsola). Mrs. Ogunsola is presently a Farm Officer in the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

9. I was Co-Supervisor of an M. Agric. candidate in the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics that successfully completed his programme in January 2010 (Mr. B.M. Ilori). Mr. Ilori is presently an Assistant Lecturer in Animal Breeding and Genetics at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

Dr. Chineke is presently a Reader in Animal Breeding and Genetics in Federal University of Technology, Akure.

2.  I was Major Supervisor of a PhD candidate in Animal Breeding and Genetics that successfully defended his thesis at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in 2008 (Dr. A.O. Adebambo). Dr. Adebambo is presently a Lecturer I in the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

3.  I was a member of the Supervisory Committees of a Ph,D candidate in the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics, UNAAB that successfully completed his programme in 2005 (Dr. S. O. Peters). Dr. S.O. Peters is presently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
