A delegation of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Alumni Association (FUNAABAA), led by the Global President, Otunba Bolaji Gbadamosi, earlier today, June 15, 2026, paid a condolence visit to the 4th Substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, following the passing of his wife, Prof. (Pastor) Elizabeth Abidemi Balogun.

The Alumni Association expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing the deceased as a devoted partner, accomplished scholar, and impactful figure whose life and contributions left enduring legacies within and beyond the University Community. During the visit, Otunba Gbadamosi presented a formal condolence letter on behalf of the Association and conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.

The delegation included the Global Secretary, Ambassador Femi Ajayi; Director I, Alumni Ventures, Rotarian Abiodun Ajayi; and Director II, Alumni Ventures, Dr. Oludare Adekoyeni. The visit concluded with prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed and for divine comfort upon the entire Balogun family.
