The Management of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), today, June 11, 2026, paid a condolence visit to the former Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, following the passing of his wife, Prof. (Pastor) Elizabeth Abidemi Balogun.
The delegation led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Olusegun Idowu expressed heartfelt sympathies to Prof. Balogun and members of his family, praying for divine comfort, strength, and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
‎Appreciating the Management for the visit, Prof. Balogun expressed profound gratitude to the University Management for the prayers and support, describing the gesture as a great source of comfort to him and his family.
The delegation included the Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi; Bursar, Mr. Olukayode Osinuga; University Librarian, Prof. Abayomi Owolabi and the Senior Deputy Registrar, Vice-Chancellor’s Office, Mr. Moses Ayanda.
