The Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Oni has donated a sum of One million Naira to the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, to enhance the sustainability of its Inaugural Lectures.

The Governor announced the donation while giving his Goodwill Message, during the 30th Inaugural Lecture delivered by Professor Akinwunmi Moses Omotayo, the immediate past Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources in Ekiti State.

Speaking through his Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Gboyega Isijola, Governor Oni described the Lecturer as a staunch administrator, who exhibited his rare talents while serving the State as Commissioner.

The Ekiti State helmsman also commended and appreciated the massive transformation of UNAAB by the Professor Balogun-led administration and the unprecedented achievements recorded in the last three years, especially in the area of infrastructural developments.

In his response, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun lauded the Governor for the donation and assured him that it will be fully utilized.
