The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) invites interested, competent and reputable contractors for Pre-qualification and tender for the projects stated below:

INTRODUCTION:
       

1. ANNUAL REPORT TENDER FEE N2,500.00

SPECIFICATIONS
Three hundred and thirty (330) pages

135 gram hard paper for inner

One thousand (1,000) copies

2. STATISTICAL DIGEST TENDER FEE N2,500.00

SPECIFICATIONS
One hundred and twenty (120) pages
All coloured
Digital separation printing
135 gram hard paper for inner
300 gram hard card cover with MAT lamination
Five hundred (500) copies.

3. Upgrading of Gari processing factory (Civil Works) TENDER FEE N2,500.00

4. Supply and Installation of Cassava Processing Equipment TENDER FEE N2,500.00

5. Construction of Gatehouse and Perimeter Fence at FUNIS – Lot 1 N5,000.00

6. Construction of Perimeter Fence at FUNIS Lot 2 N5,000.00

7. Construction of Perimeter Fence at FUNIS Lot 3 N5,000.00

8. Construction of Perimeter Fence at FUNIS Lot 3 N5,000.

 

PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

To be considered, potential companies are required to submit all the under-listed verifiable documents:

1. Certificate of Company’s registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);

2. Company’s Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2014//2015/2016), duly stamped;

3. Compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act 2011 by inclusion of Compliance Certificate from ITF;

4. Compliance with Pension Reform Act, 2004 by inclusion of Current Clearance Certificate from National Pension Commission (PENCOM);

5. Evidence of registration on the Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by inclusion of the Interim Registration Report (IRR) issued by Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) in line with the provision of section 5 (b) of the Public Procurement Act (PPA), 2007;

6. Current Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2014 – 2016), duly stamped by a Professional Accounting Firm/Audit Firm showing annual turnover;

7. Original Bank Statement for the past Twelve (12) Months and documents demonstrating availability of funds/liquid assets and /or credit facilities from the banker(s) to successfully complete the Contract;

8. Verifiable Evidence of similar Jobs successfully executed, or being executed within the last Five (5) years, indicating type, cost, location and evidence of award and completion;

9. List, Curriculum Vitae (CVs), and copies of credentials of technical staff, indicating qualification, year(s) of cognate experience and Certificate of Registration with relevant bodies like COREN, CORBON, MNISQ WHERE APPLICABLE;

10. List of verifiable essential equipment, in full working condition to be used for the projects, listed as owned hired or leased;

11. Sworn Affidavit in line with provision of Part Iv, Section 16 Subsection 19 (f) of the Procurement Act 2007:

(a). that all the documents submitted for the pre-qualification exercise are not only genuine, but fully correct;

(b) that the Director(s) of the prospective contractual company has/have never been convicted by any court of law;
(c) that neither the company nor any of the company director is bankrupt;

(d) that no officers of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is a former or present Director of the company;
(e) that the company is not in receivership.

12. Evidence of payment of non-refundable Pre-qualification Fee as indicated for each lot and made payable to FUNAAB Project Revenue Account on REMITA Number 0220217161018.

13. Companies applying for items 3-8 should collect tender documents from Procurement Unit, Unity Building A, Room with evidence of payment of prescribed fee.

 

 

SUBMISSION OF PREQUALIFICATION AND TENDER DOCUMENTS

The Pre-qualification/Technical Requirement should be sealed in a Separate Envelop and clearly marked “Pre-qualification/Technical Bid

The Financial Bid should be in another separate Envelop, sealed and clearly marked “Financial Bid. The Two envelop should be put into a bigger envelop and clearly marked “Pre-qualification, Technical/Financial Bid

The name of the Company should be boldly written on the reverse side of all the envelopes. (All Documents should be in Ring Binding)and deliver to: The Head, Procurement Unit, Room A119, Unity Building ‘A’ Federal University of Agriculture, P.M.B. 2240, Abeokuta, Ogun State. To reach her not later than 12.00 noon Friday 1st December, 2017.

 

OPENING OF THE TECHNICAL BIDS
The Technical Bids shall be opened on Friday, 1st December, 2017 at 12.00 Noon at the Unity Building Conference Room A106, of the University while the financial bids of the successful prequalified contractors shall be opened at a later date yet to be announced.

NOTE:
The Contractors/Suppliers should contact the Office of the Directors, Procurement Units, Academic Planning, Physical Planning and Dean, COLFHEC as appropriate for further clarification on the bids.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
* Failure to comply with the above requirements would automatically result in disqualification.

* The University reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any claim made on the Pre-qualification and Tender documents submitted by companies.

* The University reserves the right to reject any Pre-qualification, Tender documents and is neither committed nor obliged to give reasons for the rejection of any of the companies responding to this invitation.

* The execution of these projects will depend on the release of funds by the appropriate funding Agency. Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) will not be liable if there is any delay in the release of fund.
