INTRODUCTION

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, (FUNAAB), wishes to invite reputable Companies with good and track record of performance and experience to bid for the creation of FUNAAB Data Centre Infrastructure as follows:

SPECIFICATIONS:

TENDER DOCUMENTS:

Interested Companies should obtain specifications from the Head, ICTREC, FUNAAB, upon the payment of the tender fee of N5,000.00 only to the University IGR Accounts and obtain receipts at the cash office of the Bursary Department.

CONDITIONS FOR ELIGIBILITY

All bids must be accompanied with the following:
1. Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission;
2. Corporate profile, to include list, CVs, and copies of Credentials of Company professional and technical staff, indicating qualifications and year(s) of cognate experience and registration with necessary professional bodies;
3. Evidence of payment of Tax for the last three (3) years duly stamped;
4. Evidence of  VAT registration and past remittances;
5. Current Company’s Audited Statement of Accounts duly stamped by a registered Auditor, (2011,2012, and 2013);
6. Evidence of Compliance with Pension Commission (PENCOM) and Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amended Act. 2011;
7. Original Bank Statement for the past Twelve Months;
8. Bank reference from reputable Bank;
9. Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed or being executed within the last five (5) years, indicating type, cost, location, and evidence of award and completion;
10. List of equipment to be used for the projects, listed as owned, hired or leased, with evidence;
11. Company’s registered address, functional contact address, GSM phone number (s) and e-mail addresses;
12. Reference Letters from Three (3) previous clients of similar projects, satisfactorily completed;
13. The completed projects must consist of a minimum of 50 access points during the period;
14. Original copies of documents would be requested to be made available for sighting whenever required;
15. A sworn affidavit certifying that:

• the documents submitted are not only genuine but correct;
• the Director(s) of the Company had never been convicted by any Court of law;
• the Company is not bankrupt or in receivership;
• none of the officers of FUNAAB or BPP is a former or present Director of the Company

SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS:

Intending bidders are to submit four (4) copies of Technical documents and One (1) copy of Tender document in A4 size paged and neatly bound in separate envelopes. The two documents are to be in one big wax sealed envelope marked “SECRET Tender for “creation of FUNAAB Data Centre Infrastructure” boldly written on the top right hand corner of the envelope, and deposited in the Tender Box at the office of:

On or before Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 12.00noon.

OPENING OF TENDER DOCUMENTS

The Tender documents will be opened on Thursday, August 28, 2014 by 12.00noon at Room A106, Unity Building Block A’, FUNAAB. Representatives of Companies, Professional bodies, NGOs and interested members of the general public are hereby invited.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• This information is meant for tendering for the projects.
• Failure to comply with the above requirements would automatically result in disqualification.
• The University reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any claim made on the documents submitted by Companies.
• The University reserves the right to reject any document and is neither committed to give reasons for the rejection of any of the Companies responding to this invitation.
• Only the tenders of the Companies who met the eligible criteria for the project would be opened.
