The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) on August 14, 2024, played host to a distinguished delegation from the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu, Lagos State, underscoring the growing relationship between the two institutions.

The team was led by Dr. Khadijah Agbalaya, Ag. HoD, Animal Production Department, LASUSTECH.

The delegation’s visit was facilitated by Prof. Adeyemi Bamgbose of the Department of Animal Nutrition (ANN), College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM).

Prof. Bamgbose, known for his significant contributions to the field of Animal Nutrition, was instrumental in organising the important visit, which took place at the Centre for Community-Based Farming Scheme (COBFAS).

During the meeting, Prof Adigbo, Director, COBFAS, briefed on the possibility of a deep commitment to fostering academic collaborations that align with FUNAAB’s vision of excellence in education and research.

Discussions also centred on potential avenues for collaboration, particularly in the areas of understudying COBFAS.
