As activities for the New Year 2025 kicked off, staff members of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) have been charged to rededicate themselves to the advancement of the University for its greater good.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, made this charge today, January 7, 2025, while addressing members of staff at the New Year Prayer organised by the Agricultural Media Resources and Extension Centre (AMREC).

In his Opening Remarks, the Vice-Chancellor promised that the year 2025 would be remarkable for all and tasked staff to be filled with thanksgiving, continuing to thank God for His mercies.

In his admonition, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Development, Prof. Kola Adebayo, emphasised the essentials of prayer in human life, advising everyone to be their brother’s or sister’s keeper and learn to correct one another with love in the new year.

Earlier, in his Welcome Address, the Director, AMREC, Prof. Jacob Olaoye noted the commitment of AMREC to the University’s tripartite mandate, encouraging all to work together to build and consolidate the Centre’s achievements.
