MANCOT Chairman,
Dr. Jonathan Atungwu
The Chairman, Management Committee on Transport (MANCOT), Dr. Jonathan Atungwu has been elected Fellow, Strategic Institute for Natural Resources and Human Development (SINRHD).
Dr. Atungwu was elected at the Institute’s “Pillars of Nation Building Award to Distinguished Academic Icon 2010”, held at the Committee Room, Federal Secretariat, IBB Boulevard, Abeokuta.
The MANCOT Chairman, who is also the Deputy Dean, Student Affairs of the University expressed delight at his elevation to the position of a Fellow of the Institute.
He attributed the achievement to the privilege afforded him by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun to serve concurrently as the Deputy Dean (Student Affairs) and Chairman (MANCOT).
“I want to believe that my nomination by yet unknown persons and subsequent appraisal by SINRHD’s team, which understudied me at work without my knowledge and the final approval by the Selection Council would have been based on my assignments in these two offices”, he stated.
