The Onisaga of Isaga, Oba Joseph Oladele Olusoji Tella (Arapapatira II) has commended the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council of the University, Chief Lawrence Ayinde Osayemi for his contributions towards the development of Isaga-Orile Community, Abeokuta North Local Government of Ogun State. Speaking at the 5th Isaga Day Celebration and the Formal Launching of N200 Million Central Palace penultimate Saturday at the new Palace Square, Oba Tella disclosed that the community was particularly very proud of the University’s Pro-Chancellor and the Balogun of Isaga, Chief Osayemi, whom he described as an illustrious son of the soil. He lauded the initiative of the University at establishing an Extension Centre at Isaga-Orile which he noted would commence soon. According to him, the establishment of the Centre will in no small way help to boost agricultural activities in the area. |
