Dr. Nurudeen O. Adekunle assumed duty as an Assistant Lecturer on September 16, 2004. My appointment was confirmed with effect from September 15, 2006. Since I assumed duty, I have been involved in teaching University and College courses at Undergraduate level and courses at Postgraduate level. I have also supervised fifteen (40) projects at Undergraduate and co-supervised six (12) dissertations.
I am a member of FUNAAB-BOT (2011-2012), College Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) Coordinator and representative on the University SIWES Committee, Departmental project coordinator and member of DTLC committee in the Department. I also served as Acting, Head of the Department, two consecutive terms, between 2020-2024.
My area of research is on the development of new materials that are sustainable and environmentally friendly, where he has publications in relevant journals, he has also collaborated in areas of ergonomics and instrumentation and energy. I have forty (40) journals Publication and six (8) referred conference proceedings.
Professionally, I am a registered Engineer with the Council of Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a Corporate Member, Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE). I also served as a resource person to the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Ibadan Branch from 2012 to date.
